The increased intake of Protein in the form of supplements and powders within the last 20 years has definitely been a booming fad in the nutritional world. The amount of protein bars, protein powders, pills, supplements, etc. has absolutely exploded the nutritional market that it can be dizzying trying to decide which is the best for you! Then not only on top of the multitude of ways to ingest protein these days, it is very difficult to do your research on different proteins to really know what is inside these proteins and the quality of all the ingredients included! There are milk-based, soy-based, egg-based, single plant-based, non-gmo based, organic, or multi-vegetable protein based protein powders. Have I overwhelmed you yet? Well I wouldn’t do this if I couldn’t provide a solution to you and thankfully I have just that.
Maximum Vibrance is by far my absolute favorite protein product out on the market. Why is it so great? Well I’m glad you asked! In a nutshell, with every serving of Maximum Vibrance, you receive: 25 billion probiotics, 23g. of plant-protein, 7 servings of fruits and veggies, and a complete multi-vitamin from all the ingredients. Amazing right? And it tastes delicious, which is definitely difficult to achieve when greens such as Spirulina and Chlorella are involved. But enough with the information about Maximum Vibrance, if you are reading this, you already know how amazing it is! But sometimes we all can get bored of the traditional protein shake right?
So what is the solution? Delicious and Yummy Protein Balls! My roommate and I were always drinking protein powders and were getting super tired of this and wanted a new way to get our protein! So we created these protein balls which area also a great way to avoid having to buy protein bars at the grocery store that probably have one or more less than optimal ingredients involved.
Maximum Protein Balls Recipe
2 Scoops Maximum Vibrance Chocolate Flavor (or regular flavor)
½ c. Almond Butter (any other nut butter works as well)
½ c. Uncooked Oatmeal
¼ c. Honey (less or more to taste)
Mix the protein powder, almond butter, and honey together. Then add the oats and thoroughly mix. Once all ingredients are combined, use a spoon to measure small amounts about the size of a table spoon and roll into balls! The Recipe should make about 6-10 balls depending on how big you make them! Then refrigerate and enjoy! My little secret is I like to freeze them as well and eat them frozen sometimes! They make great on-the-go breakfast bites, snacks, or after work-out treats and they are super delicious! Feel free to modify the ingredients or add things like craisins or raisins if you want, go crazy! I hope that you enjoy this new and delicious way to get your protein and try something new!
