I found this recipe on Pinterest from Sakara and I thought it sounded great, plus I loved the name! Of course, since it's Green Vibrance month I decided to green it up a bit. The name of the smoothie is so awesome because I don't know about you, but sometimes when I am chewing away on a carrot I have a little Bugs Bunny moment.
Ehh, what's up doc?
But seriously, the flavor is earthy, with a cinnamon and coconut finish.
Who could ask for anything more?
1-inch piece of ginger
1/4 cup frozen pineapple
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp shredded coconut
Directions: Blend or juice the carrots, apple, ginger and lemon then once smooth add the banana, pineapple, cinnamon, and coconut oil to the blender. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Sprinkle with some additional coconut shreds and cinnamon and drink up!
